US Open
What a great time. Getting adjusted to the West Coast time change was a challenge but worth every minute. We were assigned player 10th tee shuttles and our shift was 11:00 am - 3:30 Tuesday and Wednesday were practice rounds and Thurday and Friday were Championship rounds. We were responsible for driving the players, the caddies, and family or coaches from the practice putting green down to the 10th tee or picking up same from the 9th hole after finishing. I think the most amazing thing was hearing them talk about the course, or even talking to each other just like you were in their living room. Only one jerk who wanted to be dropped MUCH closer (20ft closer) and thought I should have been driving faster and more agressivly. Who did I get to drive twice in the four days....you guessed it!!! Apparently he behaves nicer when his wife and son are with him. Looking forward to Beth Page next year.
