Baluga Whale

Sarah and her friend Lauren spent the afternoon at Mystic Aquarium yesterday feeding and playing with the Baluga Whale. Even after having been spit on by the whale they still said it was the best!

Cabinets

David came today to build my cabinet finally. Now everyone is happy...large screen tv for the men and everything hidden for me!

STARBUCKS

I am sooooooo verrrry sad that Starbucks is closing my store...what are they thinking. First I have to withstand an entire summer with no Starbucks and now when I get home that one will be closing.

Visitors

I'm sure it will come as no surprise that I took Wendy and Rory for our nightly sunset adventure. It was one of the best so far this year! Tomorrow to the beach and then on Wednesday they head up to Maine for a few more days. I remember the days when Wendy and I spent the summers on Long Beach Island. Talk about perfect!!

San Diego Event

Padres game. Glenn and I couldn't stay awake for the whole game and needed to leave before it was over. Maybe the official game wasn't over but we definitely were! They have a section for sitting on the grass to watch and a sandbox area for the kids to play in when parents are watching. Great idea! One other thing that I found to be a little scarey was the planes coming in just behind the high rises to land.

STEELY DAN

Concert number 1 in our summer series! We saw Steely Dan tonight and music was just as expected.....great! First thing we noticed was how OLD they were and second thing we noticed was how OLD the audience was. I guess that would lead you to believe so are we.
